I Believe in Your Big Dreams (And Why You Should Too!)

It is not uncommon for you to see me pop up at the start of a session, diamond in hand. I love a metaphor but it’s also a reminder – a symbol of the brilliance and shine I already see in you – even if things feel a bit cloudy or murky. Like a diamond, your dreams are hidden beneath the surface, but they are there. Radiant, powerful and full of potential.

The power of belief – I see the diamond in you.

I believe in uncovering that shine, in polishing those dreams until they sparkle in the light. Because no matter how big your dreams are, they’re yours and they’re possible. And if you’ve forgotten that, I’m here to remind you.

The importance of living out your dreams (or your truth) can feel a bit uncomfortable or inherently selfish. But in reality, it’s one of the most generous things you can do. Think about someone fully immersed in their vision: living boldly, lit up from within. They’re magnetic. A joy to be around. Their presence uplifts and you leave their orbit feeling more alive, more courageous, more willing to dig deep and uncover your own shine.

Living your dream is how you polish the diamond within. And when you reveal that inner sparkle, that light refracts outward, sending prisms of joy, hope, and inspiration into the world around you.

It’s the ripple effect of authenticity.
It’s how light travels.
It’s the deeper truth behind the age-old Rumi quote:
“What you seek is seeking you.”

Because when you seek the dream, live the dream, become the dream, you meet a world that’s been waiting for your light all along.

Where do dreams come from?

Let’s do a quick exercise. Take a scan of the space you are in right now. Absolutely everything around you first started with a thought. Whether it be an iPhone, chair, book, a floor tile or even the building you are in. It all started with a thought. It is the same thing with dreams! They first start as a thought before they come into reality.

But if going after dreams was that simple and straightforward as thinking a thought, we’d all be living wildly expansive, dream-filled lives…right? Yet something often gets in the way.

What dims the sparkle within?

We all carry silent hopes, but also silent doubts, and sadly these often override our desires. Many of the fears and uncertainties we tell ourselves aren’t even ours to begin with and are typically rooted in past experiences, conditioning and societal pressure. Common limiting beliefs such as ‘I’m not worthy’, ‘It’s too late’, ‘I don’t have what it takes,’ or ‘I don’t have the money’, can keep us feeling stuck and frustrated, not able to take any action. Other more subtle, unconscious beliefs related to belonging or abandonment can also keep us trapped.

These stories tell us to shrink when we are being called to expand. If you are reading this, I’m sure you have a feeling or a knowing that you are destined for something different or bigger.

A quick side note

I want to take a moment here to touch on the importance of the people we have around us in helping us to see through the ‘fog.’ I understand that family dynamics can be tricky and complex, but this is why in most cases, parents are so supportive of our big dreams – they see us through an unfiltered belief, not just in what we do, but in who we are.

In contrast, some friends (or other family members), may think that you’re a bit delulu. This is likely a projection of their own limiting beliefs but also reveals something important: they can’t truly see your dreams because those dreams weren’t given to them. Your dreams were given to you and you alone. It is therefore your job to protect them.

Just like a flame, dreams can be easily snuffed out, particularly in the beginning stages. Surrounding yourself with support helps, but what truly keeps the fire stoked is your own deep belief in yourself and what is possible for you.

EFT: The bridge between dream and doubt

As discussed here and here, EFT has a range of benefits including nervous system regulation, reframing beliefs at the subconscious level and disrupting old neurological patterns. When we release the fear, self-doubt and pressure around our big dreams and goals, we can start to turn off the stress response, allowing our prefrontal cortex to come ‘back on’ so we can slip into more excitement, alignment and joy. We begin to move into living in a state of creation, rather than survival. Not only does tapping help clear limiting beliefs BUT it is a powerful tool for gaining clarity, and stepping into your dreams with confidence. The really cool thing about EFT is that is so versatile.

EFT isn’t just for clearing pain, it’s for revealing the ‘sparkle’ within and remembering who you really are.

EFT + future pacing = dream manifestation made easy

I talk here about future pacing or ‘future dreaming’ and how it is a massive component of my work with clients. I have had countless sessions where I work specifically on supporting someone to release fear or worry around a really big goal or dream they have.

By programming new, positive thoughts into our brain, we begin to believe that anything is possible. Consequently, our brain will automatically start looking for different proofs and references, including stories of other people that have done it. We begin to believe and feel that it is easy.

Quick note – if you’re after some inspo, here’s a snapshot from a handful of incredible and inspiring clients detailing how we worked together to alchemize their limiting beliefs into limitless potential and purpose-driven achievement.

I love watching this process unfold. It allows people to really align with what is working for them and to also feel more intuitively led to what the next best steps to take. After all, given that your dreams were given to you, it makes sense that you also have the answers (they are juuuust waiting under the surface to be revealed).

Of course, with my additional training and experience in life coaching and other strategies, we can develop a tailored plan so you can simultaneously take aligned action towards what you want.

What dream(s) are YOU being called towards?

I encourage you to tune into any quiet nudges or desires you’ve pushed away. Reflect on any recent thoughts of ‘it’s too hard’, or ‘I’ll get around to it later.’

Think about the following. Feel free to journal or write out your answer:

  • What dream (or dreams) keep whispering to me?
  • If money/time/fear wasn’t in the way, what would I be going after?

Remember: if the dream is in you, it’s for you. EFT just clears the fog so you can see the path again.

I believe, until you can too

Hold on tight to the belief in yourself and it what is possible. You are worthy and deserving of your dreams, and your dreams are dreaming of you too.

You are not alone. I see your potential and I’m here to help you access it. You don’t have to believe in your dream all the time. That’s okay. I’ll hold the belief for you, until you’re ready to hold it for yourself.

Let’s uncover your sparkle together💎
